WHAT A DAY!!!! and what an overflowing feast and I just don’t have adequate words to thank each person who brought food and helped in so many ways, but thank you from the bottom of my heart! We enjoyed an amazing Worship Service and Pastor Ricardo’s message was wonderful!!! During lunch, I was so grateful that we were able to show the Bears Game on our big screen during lunch and the Bears won!!! Such a fun day. That made the day so much fun and thank you all again! A huge thank you to my friend Laurie B. and her two friends who hosted our luncheon, and to each person who brought food! As always, I did not know how much food would come in, but not only was it overflowing, but every dish was extraordinary and so delicious and an amazing variety and everyone could take as much as they wanted. Someone said to me, “This looks like a feast fit for a King.” And I thought immediately how true those words are because Jesus tells us, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40). So, YES! The ‘feasts’ we have witnessed over all of these years are truly fit for a King and I love the heart of volunteers who always seem to bring in the BEST!!! Even in our clothing room, people donate brand new clothing, brand new socks, and one woman brought in brand new hand-made pillow cases that she and her friends made to go with brand new pillows! Again, I love that our friends always receive ‘the best’ and I know that is God’s heart, too. Thank You!!
