What a beautiful day yesterday at our Potluck Luncheon and Worship gathering in Palatine! Thank you to everyone who helped and brought food and especially a huge thank you to the Caposieno Family who hosted our luncheon in memory of their Mom and my friend and neighbor, Lorraine! I didn't know who would be bringing all of the extra dishes that we would need, and somehow the food all came in and it was overflowing and delicious! Thank you to those who brought clothing because people were so grateful and happy as many found beautiful items including coats that they needed! I believe God truly multiplies the food and clothing and provides everything we need! Arlette and Kebin led us in beautiful worship music and included the song which will be the theme for next Sunday's Banquet at the Cotillion, "I trust in God"! Wow! Pastor Ricardo also shared such a powerful message on the peace of God...sharing the story in the Bible of Jesus being in the boat and calming the storm; and brought home the truth that Jesus is always in our boat and that's why we can have peace!
