My friends have been cooking since 7:30 a.m. and people are filling up our room here as I write this. So much joy in this room and I am so thankful to God for all of His blessings.

I talked with the YMCA manager yesterday and I found out more good news! Another man who has been waiting for a room will be given his interview next week (woohoo!), and I can't wait to tell him the good news when he arrives. Eight people have now been given the great gift from God to get off the streets since last August at this YMCA, and many of the people have lived outside for years! We also received clearance from the YMCA to deliver an X-Long twin mattress and frame to our newest resident who is 6'7" and although he has been reporting that he is sleeping so well and that it is 'heaven' for him to have this place, he will love being able to stretch out as he sleeps. Although people step into their humble housing (a room), they continue to need help with food and clothing and bus passes and other types of assistance, and I am grateful that we are a family here!

We could not do any of this without your financial donations and I am so grateful to God for each of you because I know that "All good gifts come from God". Thank you also for your other donations of clothing and so much more (we just received a donation of bibles and books and they have all found homes and are so appreciated! As the weather is getting warmer (hopefully) we welcome donations of clothing for men and women for this upcoming season.
