Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday at our Sunday Potluck Luncheon and Worship Service in Palatine! What an absolutely great and fun day where we experienced the presence of God and His love together!!! A huge thank you to a group of women from Willow Creek Church who hosted our luncheon and brought in delicious wonderful food and helped to serve! As always, thank you to others showed up with food and hearts willing to hep and visit with our friends, and I continue to be amazed by how God provides in every detail! Just when I was beginning to wonder whether we would have enough volunteers, new people just walked through the door! One of our new volunteers noticed that one of our friends really needed newer shoes, and walked him over to the clothing area...and there was a beautiful (like-new) pair of shoes that fit him perfectly!

Our bus arrived just before Noon and people helped themselves to coffee and bagels...and God's Family Party began!!!

Thank you to everyone who brought clothing yesterday! People were finding just the right sizes and the special items they needed and there was just so much joy and gratitude!! The donations in Chicago and Palatine have been so wonderful that we never have anyone who walks away without a nice warm coat, hat, gloves, hand warmers, or even a blanket if needed.

Kevin and Arlette led us in beautiful Worship Songs and Pastor Ricard gave a wonderful message and then lunch was served!
