THANKING GOD FOR 6 YEARS OF TIMOTHY'S MINISTRY!!
Since February 2004, Timothy's Ministry has been dedicated to reaching out with love and compassion to people struggling with homelessness. We gather together for biweekly potluck luncheons as a family in the Douglas Room of The Orchard Evangelical Free Church where caring volunteers join together with our guests to offer friendship, food, clothing, Bible studies, and more. We thank God for orchestrating this ministry and for bringing us together as one family in His love. Over the past 6-1/2 years, there have been close to 2,000 different individuals struggling with homelessness who have joined us and have been part of our family. We have also had approximately the same number of volunteers who have come from various other churches and neighborhoods including people who do not attend any church but somehow God has drawn them to be part of our family! We completely rely on individual donations of food, clothing, serving, and financial contributions to support this ministry so that we can continue to help alleviate the suffering of many people struggling with homelessness as well as offer each person the hope that comes from Jesus. God is the one who fills up the room every other Sunday with the people He brings including our volunteers as well as our Guests! Please consider joining us!!!

Timothy's Ministry first began 6 years ago as God's answer to my prayer after I cried out to God on my knees the day before my son Tim's birthday (Tim passed away the year before). I remember saying, "Help me, God, if only I could have had the simple joy of baking Tim a cake, what I would have given." Click on "Stories" in the top navigation bar to read how it all began.
